About

Who Am I?

I am a recent Software Engineering graduate from San Jose State University. After switching majors twice, I took summer classes in order to catch up and complete my B.S. in Software Engineering without taking any extra time. I obtained my degree in May of 2018 and spent the summer travelling Asia with a group of friends. Since then, I have been gaining experience doing Software Development at UL. Moving forward, I am seeking opportunities to further develop my skills and grow as a professional.

On the side, I do freelance web design, photography, and social media management. I have done work for local businesses ranging from dessert shops to medical offices to online e-commerce stores. Some of my focuses are on:

Formally trained in Java at University. Learned how to create/host/modify websites on the side to help my honor society develop a web presence and later transitioned to acquiring a few clients for side projects. Worked on web applications and gained some exposure to Vue.js/Firebase as an Upperclassman and eventually landed my current position which has me primarily working in Javascript using libraries such as React, Redux, Socket.IO, and NodeCron.
